Aliens Or Predators? A Study

"Aliens"

Description:
Serpent like in movement and appearance, an "Alien" has a distinctive elongated skull and muscle structure. The Alien has a tail which is of bone like composition, Aliens have no visible eyes, claw like arms and acidic blood. Aliens stay primarily low to the ground, making them extremely agile, and favour two back legs to pounce at prey with.

General Information:
Aliens have no visible eyes, it is thought that they "sense" other creatures, as well as utilising sound and vibration to pinpoint the location of it's prey. An Aliens tail is long and made of strong bone, this can be made rigid, to create a strong spear like weapon for piercing light armour and flesh.

Excellent swimmers, the Alien is almost dolphin like whilst moving underwater and can quickly change direction and speed, making it a deadly underwater killer. Aliens can also climb most if not all surfaces, their claws are perfect latching weapons, as well as being razor sharp.

Aliens multiply by using other creatures as "hosts" for eggs, these eggs are implanted into the unfortunate victim by another Alien creature, this creature is hand like in appearance and wraps itself around the victims face, implanting an egg into their stomach via the foodpipe, after the egg has been implanted, the implanting creature dies. Once the egg has hatched, the Alien young waits until it has mustered enough strength to break through any chest bones that the host may have, and rip through the victims chest and crawl out of it's body to grow and develop into a full Alien

The skin of an Alien is of an unknown biological composition, it is immune to the extremely acidic properties in it's blood, an Aliens blood will melt through any other surface or material known.

Origins:
It is impossible to accurately pinpoint the origins of these "Aliens", nor estimate it's numbers, it is thought that they colonise other planets by spores or by concealing themselves on travelling ships, before killing the crew and colonising the planets surface.

Technology:
Aliens possess no advanced technology, although the way they colonise planets and utilise their shape and force as deadly weapons could be described as "Bio Technology".

Mentality And Behavioural Actions:
Mentally, Aliens consider all other creatures prey, and kill anything on sight. Prefering to catch prey by surprise, Aliens usually lie in wait within the shadows or in any place the prey cannot see them, and launch a devistating attack, they primarily hunt in packs. The Alien race has no real purpose other than the comsumption of other races and the multiplication of it's own, one could say they are simply a plague. The Alien has the ability to solve problems, as well as assess risk, but seems unable to ally with any other creature.

Hierarchy:
The only leading members of the Alien race are the large Alien creatures who can lay eggs, or "mothers". The Aliens are commanded and unquestionably follow the mothers orders, aside from this, there is no real command structure to the Alien race.

"Predators"

Description:
Humanoid in shape and standing at 7+ foot, the Predator has a domish shaped skull, and folding mouth muscles as well as a smaller set of teeth inside the outer muscle structure. Predators have an extremely large muscle mass, with additional shoulder and back muscles for a harder "punch" and greatly increased strength. A Predator has what can only be described as "dreadlocks" on it's head. Predators have eyes, but have basic vision, much the same as humans.

General Information:
There is nothing known of Predator reproductive / multiplication rituals. Being of humanoid shape Predators are average swimmers and their hands allow them to hold onto as much as humans. Predators can jump a great distance and are fairly agile.

Origins:
It is not known where predators origionated from, first contact with the species was made when a special forces team entered a brazilian forest on a recon mission, the entire team but the commander and a brazilian woman was wiped out by a Predator, the Predator was eventually killed by the commander but no other information is known. Several years afterwards a Predator killed a large group of cult members, police and criminals in a major city of the world, it is unknown what happened to the Predator, but a leader of the police force claims to have fought and killed the creature.

Predators use extremely advanced ships to traverse the galaxy, and it is written that they once showed the first humans of planet earth how to build, and were in turn worshipped as gods.

Technology:
Predators possess extremely advanced technology, utilising strong metals to create effective weapons and armour. Weapons are of a distinctive shape, designed primarily for piercing heavy armour and severing limbs. Predators also have energy weapons, when used these weapons can kill the target almost instantly and the weapon itself is pinpoint with accuracy. Armour is rigid and is designed to allow for maximum movement and protection at the same time, the helmet of a Predator is fitted with several different enhanced viewing modes, infra-red vision, heat signature scanner and many unknown modes. The weapons are intergrated into the armour and are accessed and used at extreme speeds. Predators have knowledge of explosives and extreme close combat abilities, they also have interstellar travel capabilities and advanced power sources. A Predators weapon arsenal consists of:

A strong metal mesh net, that closes around the victim cutting through flesh and light armour alike, effectively crushing it.

A spinning blade, thrown like a boomerang it will sever flesh like a hot knife through butter and sails back to the Predator to be re-used.

A shoulder blaster, using a concentrated energy blast that will simply melt or disintergrate flesh, light and heavy armour alike.

A ritual spear, made of extremely strong metal, will pierce through almost anything.

A self destructing energy explosive device, which is activated with a countdown timer on the Predator's arm, fatal to anything within it's radius.

Mentality And Behavioural Actions:
A Predators life is a ritualistic one, Predators are natural born "hunters" and strive to become great hunters by killing other creatures. Because of this life, a Predator wishes to kill the strongest foe it can find, a Predator percieves any creature with any sort of weapon a threat, and kills it. A Predator does not kill any injured or diseased creature primarily, they are seen as "weaker" and not a true test of the Predators strength.

When a Predator wishes to prove himself, he is given creatures to hunt, when he has successfully killed a creature, he ritualisticly marks himself to show others his accomplishments, the phrase "earning your stripes" is commonly associated with this action. The Predator also takes the creatures skull as a "trophy", if the Predator already has that creatures skull, it takes one of the creatures possessions instead. Fallen Predators are retrieved and buried as warriors.

Predators are extremely intelligent, and considers those who have slain other creatures great warriors, they also have great respect for those who can kill their own race, especially to show mercy. Predators will ally with those who they think are great warriors and show no immediate threat. Predators can also understand basic language, and in some circumstances can even learn pieces of that language for communication, they understand basic greeting actions and some basic sign language.

A Predator likes stalking it's victim, this is what is known as "the hunt"

Hierarchy:
The Predator race has an obviously complex hierarchy, those who have slain a lot of foes are feared respected and often "teach" new warriors, Predator teachers can have two novice warriors.

Predator hierarchy is loosely based on the trophies that have been collected, leaders of the Predator race have uncountable trophies and are quite clearly older and far more experienced.

The PredAlien
The PredAlien is the result of an Alien breeding process within a Predator, to create the ultimate killing machine, it is said that the PredAlien is loyal to neither side, and is therefore a seperate race in itself.
